Tobergal Lane Cafe is the newest venture by Brid Torrades who is well known to food-lovers in Sligo from her previous restaurant at Glebe House in Collooney and her current successful establishments Osta Cafe and Wine Bar and the Atrium Cafe at the Model Arts centre in Sligo town.
Suitable for Tours . Real Irish Food and Local Beers, seating capacity of 70 or 90 (two rooms). Traditional Music can be arranged.
Tobergal Lane Cafe serves authentic Bistro food at lunch time and again in the evening. It is possible to drop in at any time of day for a sociable drink in a relaxing environment.
The daily changing menu features fresh locally sourced products with an emphasis on seasonality; cockles, oysters and mussels from Lissadell, local lamb, beef and venison, ducks from Thornhill, Co Cavan, freshly delivered fish from nearby ports and local organic and free range eggs and dairy products. All food is prepared and cooked on the premises. Fresh baked bread, pastries and desserts are baked by in-house Patissier Julien Vial
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 11 am.
The emphasis on quality extends to the choice of beers; O Haras stout, Mowlings red ale, Curim wheat beer and Galway Hooker light ale.
As with everything else in Tobergal Lane Cafe, the wine list has been carefully compiled and provides a selection to all tastes and occasions.
Coffee prepared by trained Baristas is supplied by Ariosa coffee (ethically sourced and roasted fresh every week by Michael Kelly in Co Meath)
